Produced by LAMAMA in assocation with Christopher McElroen Productions, LLC.

Jonathan Lipsky's Living in Exile is a three character retelling of Homer’s The Iliad interpreted through the perspective of present day America's involvement in foreign wars. Exile is a work of confrontation and radical intimacy, and is staged in private living rooms for no more than twenty people a night.  The production involves live performance, live and pre-recorded video, and audience interaction. The play takes place simultaneously in the room, on television and on your cell-phone.

The production premiered at The Public Theatre's Under the Radar Festival in NYC January 5 - 16, 2011 and will tour New England in April 2012 before returning to NYC.  The production has also been invited to the 2013 Performance Arcade Festival in Wellington New Zealand.
