Jonathan Lipsky's Living in Exile is a three character retelling of Homer’s The Iliad interpreted through the perspective of present day America's involvement in foreign wars. Exile is a work of confrontation and radical intimacy, and is staged in private living rooms for no more than twenty people a night.  The production involves live performance, live and pre-recorded video, and audience interaction. The play takes place simultaneously in the room, on television and on your cell-phone.

The production premiered at The Public Theatre's Under the Radar Festival in NYC January 5 - 16, 2011 and toured New England in April 2012. The production was also invited to the 2013 Performance Arcade Festival in Wellington, New Zealand.

Produced by LAMAMA in association with Christopher McElroen Productions, LLC.
